Please read the agreement
These standard terms explain how custom website projects work with Danielle Website Designs. Your individual written proposal or quote identifies the exact project scope, pricing, included revision rounds, and any special conditions. We will review and confirm the full agreement before work starts.
01. Project scope & design approval
Each project begins with a written proposal identifying its pages, functions, deliverables, timeline estimate, revision allowance, and price. Scope changes, new features, and work outside the written proposal require a separate quote and your approval. The finished design is shared for review before launch.
02. Payment terms for both services
Self-Publish: The agreed one-time design price ($199, $399, or $599 for standard packages) is paid securely through Square after the signed acknowledgment is submitted and before custom design work begins. You receive the completed design ZIP and publishing instructions after the agreed design and revisions. Done-for-You: 50% of the quoted package price is paid up front through secure Square checkout for custom design. The other 50% is invoiced only if you approve the design and choose the managed website launch. Requesting a quote creates no payment obligation.
Once custom design work begins, earned design payments are intended to be non-refundable, subject to applicable law and fulfillment of the agreed services. Unearned payments, cancellations before work, and failure to deliver agreed services are addressed under the written proposal and applicable law.
03. Design payments, refunds & after-preview options
Domain, hosting, subscriptions, licensed assets, and other third-party purchases are separate and subject to their own provider terms.
Self-Publish customers: The quoted design price covers creation of your website, review/revisions, website ZIP, and instructions. This does not include any publishing, domain connection, or live testing. Once the agreed design service is performed, the fee is intended to be non-refundable except where law requires otherwise.
Done-for-You · Choice A: Approve the design and pay the remaining 50% for managed Netlify publishing, standard domain connection, HTTPS verification, and basic launch testing.
Done-for-You · Choice B: After the agreed design review, decline my managed launch. You do not owe the outstanding 50%. Instead, you receive the current completed website ZIP and the publishing guide. You must publish and configure everything yourself. The upfront earned design payment is not refunded, subject to applicable law.
Consumer rights: If a project is canceled before work begins, an agreed service is not delivered, or a refund or remedy is required by law, that right is not waived by these terms. Simply calling a service “digital” does not automatically make all payments non-refundable.
04. Revisions & additional requests
Starter Website includes one revision round; Small Business Website and Business Website Plus include two. Revisions adjust the agreed design. New pages, extensive redesigns, advanced features, and new content requests may require an additional written estimate.
05. Client materials & timeline
You agree to provide accurate business details and photos, logos, text, or other content you have permission to use. Delivery estimates may change if materials or approvals are delayed. We will communicate material changes before proceeding.
06. Website ZIP delivery, accounts & launch responsibilities
All clients own their domain and hosting accounts, and receive their finished ZIP subject to applicable third-party licenses. Self-Publish: ZIP plus instructions, with all publishing and technical setup handled by the client. Done-for-You: managed publishing, standard DNS/domain connection, HTTPS verification and basic live testing after final payment. If a Done-for-You customer declines the launch, they receive the ZIP and guide without owing the remaining 50%. Contact forms, subscriptions, integrations, and domains may require separate provider setup or approval.
07. Cancellations, choice & questions
After design review, Done-for-You customers should confirm their launch decision in writing. Self-Publish customers receive the ZIP and guide after their agreed design service is completed. To cancel or discuss an issue, email DanielleWebsiteDesigns@gmail.com. Applicable cancellation, refund and consumer rights remain in effect.
08. Agreement confirmation
Please complete the acknowledgment form after receiving and approving a written project quote. Your written proposal and these standard terms form the basis for the project agreement, subject to any mutually signed amendments and applicable law. This form does not collect payment information or start work automatically. Maintenance subscriptions use a separate Maintenance Agreement.
